A.used at a libation, αὔλημα, μέλος, D.H.Dem.22, Poll.4.79, etc.; ς. (sc. νόμος) a piece of music used at libations, Plu.2.11 35a.
II. σπονδεῖος (sc. πούς), , in metre, spondee, foot consisting of two long syllables used in melodies accompanying σπονδαί, D.H.Comp.17, Heph.3.1, etc.
