L): (στόχος):—aim or shoot at, c. gen., [σκοποῦ] Pl.R.519c, Isoc.l.c.; “δίκην τοξότου ς. τινόςPl.Lg.706a; ἄλλου στοχαζόμενος ἔτυχε τούτου aiming at another man hit the deceased, Antipho 2.1.4; “ς. ἀνθρώπωνX.Cyr.1.6.29.
