II. make solid, congeal, condense, Il.5.902 (v. sub “ἐπείγω111.2); “ς. τὸ σῶμαArist. l.c., cf. Pl. Ti.85d:—Pass., with pf. 2, become solid, to be condensed, ib.59e,81b,91b, etc.; of calculi in the bladder, Hp.Aë.9.
