συνα^γορ-εύω (the fut. in use being συνερῶ (v. συνερέω), aor. συνεῖπον (q.v.), pf. συνείρηκα):—
A.advocate a course of action jointly with, Εὐρυμέδων αὐτῷ ταῦτα ξ. Th.7.49, cf. 6.6, 8.84, Lys.12.25, X.Cyr.2.2.21, 2.3.16, Plu.Fab.18, etc.: c. inf., “ς. στρατιὰν ποιεῖνX.HG5.2.20; folld. by ὡς Χρεὼν εἴη . . , Id.Cyr.6.2.24:—Pass., τὸ συναγορευόμενον the course advocated, Plu.2.841f; συναγορευομένη is dub.l. in PStrassb.41.23 (iii A.D.).
