PSI7.801.3 (ii A.D., Pass.), Ostr.Bodl. iii 336 (ii/iii A.D., Pass.): abs., “συναίρεινEv.Matt.18.24.
2. = συνάγω, gather in a harvest, “τὰ γενήματαTAM2.245.9 (Lycia):— Pass., ἐπὶ τοῖς βαλανείοις συναιρόμενος ῥύπος collected, Dsc.1.30 (v.l. -αγόμενος).
3. ὅπως συνάρωμεν διπλῆν εἰλαπίνην that we may celebrate together a double festival, BGU1080.9 (iii A.D.).
4. τῷ Καίσαρι συναίρει espouses Caesar's cause, D.C.46.3 codd. (fort. -εται).
2. raise or use in helping, “οὐ συναίρεται δόρυE.Rh.495; πᾶν τι ἔχομεν ς. τῷ κάλλει enlist all we have in the service of beauty, Luc.Charid.12.
3. τῶν σκελῶν ς. catch by both legs, trip up, Plu.Lys.15.
