συνεκ-πίπτω ,
A.fall out or be ejected together, Hp.Vict.1.27 (v.l. συνεμ-), Arist.HA587a13; “αἴσθησις -ουσα μετὰ τοῦ αἰσθητοῦPl.Tht.156b; “δεῖ . . συνεκπίπτειν τὴν ὅρασιν τῷ ὁρατῷPlot.5.3.10, cf. 6.2.9.
II. c. dat., rush out together with, Plu.Pel.32, Lys.28; to be carried away by, “ταῖς ὁρμαῖς τῶν πολιτῶνId.Per.20, cf. Plb.27.9.9.
2. to be driven out or banished together with, Plu.Ant.32.
3. disappear together with, “ἀτμὸς ς. ἀπιόντι τῷ θερμῷId.2.946a, cf. Luc. Hist.Conscr.62.
III. (from voting tablets coming out of the urn in which they were collected) come out in agreement, happen to agree, “κατὰ τὠυτὸ αἱ γνῶμαι συνεξέπιπτονHdt.1.206; αἱ γνῶμαι αἱ πλεῖσται ς. ναυμαχέειν agreed in advising to fight, Id.8.49; οἱ πολλοὶ ς. Θεμιστοκλέα κρίνοντες agreed in choosing, ib.123.
2. c. dat., come out equal to another, run a dead heat with him, “ἀγωνιζόμενος στάδιον συνεξέπιπτε τῷ πρώτῳId.5.22, cf. Plu.2.1045d.
IV. fail together, “ἔν τινιDemad.8 (s. v.l.); of a play, to be rejected together with the actor, Luc.Nigr.8.
V. of flesh, fall away together, Pl. Ti.84b.
VI. degenerate together, “εἴς τιLongin.41.1.
