A.“συνομοῦμαι” IPE4.79.37 (Chersonesus, iv/iii B.C.): pf. “-ομώμοκα” Hyp. Lyc.7, etc.:—swear together, “ἦ μὴν τὸν παῖδα . . φιλεῖσθαι” X.Smp.9.6; ἀποκτείνειν （ἀποκτενεῖν Cobet) Lycurg.126; “ὅρκους” Hdt.1.176; “ὅρκον” Plu.Brut.12.
2. c. acc. rei,pledge one's oath to a thing, promise by oath, “ἅ μοι ξυνώμοσας” S.Ph.1367 codd.; ξυνώμοσαν μὲν θάνατον . . πατρί joined in swearing death against him, A.Ch.978:—Pass., “τὸ πρᾶγμα πανταχόθεν ξυνομώμοται” Ar.Lys.1007.
