II. wrap up, ( σκύλαξ γᾷ συνεσπείρασεν τὸν σῦν) wrapped him in earth, i.e. laid him low, PCair.Zen.532.21 (iii B.C.).
2. tie up together, bunch together, βελόναις συνεσπειραμέναις κατακεντήσας with a bunch of needles, Paul.Aeg.4.5.
