συστροφ-ή , ἡ,
A.twisting together, ς. χαύνην λαμβάνειν to be loosely twisted, of yarn, Pl.Plt.282e.
2. turning round, v.l. (ap.Plu.2.891e) in Placit.2.29.3, for συντροφή.
3. condensation, density, Arist.Pr.964a18.
4. pl., dealings, converse between men, Epicur. Sent.33.
5. metaph. of style, terseness, concentration, D.H.Dem. 18, Th.53, Demetr.Eloc.8; “ἐν συστροφῇ” concisely, PMag.Lond.46.25.
