A.cloven, divided, “κέλευθος” A.Fr.173; “ὁδός” S.OT733, E.Ph.38; “ἄντυξ” Id.Rh.373 (lyr.); λίνον ς. lint, Hp.Nat.Mul.53 (but cf. 4 infr.); πέρκη ς. a split perch, Antiph.132; Ἀργεῖαι ς. a kind of women's shoes, Eup.266; ς. χιτωνίσκος a tunic open at the side, Apollod.Com.12; without χιτωνίσκος, PSI4.341.7 (iii B.C.), Schwyzer 462 B30 (Tanagra, iii B.C.); σχιστὰς ἕλκειν, of a certain dance (cf. σχίσμα IV), Poll.4.105.
