A.judging from signs: esp. Medic., judging or determining from symptoms, Hp.Acut.2: generally, οὐ δικαίαν τέκμαρσιν ἔχει τὸ ἐκφοβῆσαι affords no just ground for inference so as to alarm us, Th.2.87; τὴν τ. ποιεῖσθαι ἔκ τινος, = τεκμαίρεσθαι, D.H.7.71; τ. ἔχειν to have its interpretation, of a dream, D.C.47.46.
