A.adventure, enterprise, daring or shameless act, freq. in E. (not in A. or S.), mostly in pl., E. Or.1064, Ba.1222, al.: sg., Ph.1676; “τ. τολμᾶτον οὐκ ἀνασχετόνAr. Pl.419, cf. Th.6.54, 7.43, Pl.Lg.636c, etc.
