τρίζω , Od.24.5,7, Hp.Morb.2.55, Arist.HA504a19, al.; but pf. τέτριγα is more freq. in pres. sense, Ep. part. τετριγῶτες, for τετριγότες, Il.2.314:—prop. of sounds uttered by animals (cf. τριγμός, τρύζω),
