2. in S.Aj.863, Ajax addresses the plains and fountains of Troy, χαίρετ᾽ ὦ τροφῆς ἐμοί ye who have fed me, or with whom I have lived; so “τροφέας παρέδωκε τὴν γῆν καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν” Antipho4.1.2.
