A.from above or (more freq.) merely above,τάφρος καὶ τεῖχος .Il.12.4, etc.: of the body, above, in the upper parts,. φοξὸς ἔην κεφαλήν2.218; “ἔνερθε πόδες καὶ χεῖρες .13.75, cf. 5.122; “τὰ ματρόθεν μὲν κάτω, τὰ δ᾽ . πατρόςPi.P.2.48: rare in Prose, X.An.1.4.4, Mem.1.4.11, Sor. 1.18; τὸ .
