ὑποχείρ-ιος , ον, Pl.Tht.198a, Plt.308a; ος, α, ον, Id.Erx.392c, Hdt.5.91: (χείρ):—
A.under the hand, in hand,χρυσὸν ὅτις χ᾽ ὑποχείριος ἔλθῃOd.15.448, cf. Anon. ap. Suid., and v. πρόχειρος.
