1. the Chersonese, i.e. the peninsula of Thrace that runs along the Hellespont, Hdt.6.33.
2. the Tauric Chersonese or Crimea, Id.4.99, etc.
3. the peninsula between Epidaurus and Troezen, Th.4.42.
