Παναθήναια

Πα^ν-α^θήναια (sc. ἱερά), τά, the Panathenaea, two festivals of the Athenians, τὰ μεγάλα and τὰ μικρά, in honour of Athena, Ar., etc. The greater was celebrated in the third year of each Olympiad, the latter annually.
