ἐπαυρέω For the Root, v. ἀπαυράω.

I.Act. to partake of, share, c. gen. rei, Il.
2.of physical contact, to touch, graze, c. acc., esp. of slight wounds, id=Il.; also c. gen. to touch, id=Il.
II.Mid. to reap the fruits of a thing, whether good or bad:
1.c. gen., in good sense, id=Il., Eur.
b.in bad sense, ἵνα πάντες ἐπαύρωνται βασιλῆος that all may enjoy their king, i. e. feel what it is to have such a king, Il.; c. acc. et gen., τοιαῦτ᾽ ἐπηύρω τοῦ φιλανθρώπου τρόπου such profit didst thou gain from . . , Aesch.; and absol., μιν ἐπαυρήσεσθαι ὀΐω I doubt not he will feel the consequences, Il.
