I.to give way, τινί to one, Soph.: absol. to permit, allow, Plat.; κατὰ τὸ παρεῖκον by such ways as were practicable, Thuc.
II.impers., παρείκει μοι it is competent, allowable for me, εἴ μοι παρείκοι Soph.; ὅπῃ παρείκοι wherever it was practicable, Thuc.
