V.a ring on the bit of a bridle, Xen.
B.τρόχος, a running, course, μὴ πολλοὺς τρόχους ἁμιλλητῆρας ἡλίου not many racing courses of the sun, i. e. not many days, Soph.; παῖδες ἐκ τρόχων πεπαυμένοι Eur.
2.a race-course, id=Eur.
