I.a country of Asia Minor, between Caria and Pamphylia, where was the volcano Chimæra, Mel. 1, 2, 6; 1, 15, 1; 2, 7, 4; Plin. 5, 27, 27, § 97: “Chimaerifera Lycia,” Ov. M. 6, 340; Stat. Th. 8, 200; Verg. A. 7, 721.—Hence,
