I.a colony of the Latins, formerly called Sinope, in Campania, now ruins near Monte Dragone, Mel. 2, 4, 9. Plin. 3, 5, 9, § 59; Liv. 10, 21, 8; Cic. Att. 9, 15, A, 6; 9, 16, 1; Ov.
