I.v. n., to be very desirous, to long much for; as verb finit. (late Lat.), Commod. 64, 4.—Hence, con-cŭpĭens . entis, P. a., very desirous, warmly desiring, coveting (only in the foll. exs.); with gen.: regni, Enn. ap. Cic. Div. 1, 48, 107.—With inf., Capitol. Max. 13, 3.
