I.perf., ātum, 1, v. a., to make full of wrinkles, to wrinkle, corrugate (very rare): “olivam,Col. 12, 50, 19; cf. “acina,id. 12, 39, 3.—Poet.: “ne sordida mappa Corruget nares,” i. e. produce loathing, cause disgust, Hor. Ep. 1, 5, 23 (cf. Quint. 11, 3, 80).
