Suas. 7 med.—Hence, adv.: nāsūtē , satirically, scornfully, wittily, sarcastically: “tu qui nasute scripta destringis mea,Phaedr. 4, 7, 1: “nasute negare,Sen. Ben. 5, 6, 5 (dub.; al. vafre).
