trĭōbŏlus , i, m., = τριώβολος.
I. As a coin, a piece of three oboli, a half-drachm; used to denote a trifle: “negare se debere tibi triobolum,a sixpence, Plaut. Bacch. 2, 3, 26: “neque triobolum ullum amicae das,id.
