Mosella

The Moselle, a river in Gallia Belgica, rising in Mount Vogesus, and falling into the Rhine at Confluentes (Coblenz). The name gives its title to a graceful poem by Ausonius in 483 hexameters, a translation of which into English has been made by C. T. Brooks in Waring's Bride of the Rhine (Boston, 1878).
