（τραπεζοποιός). A servant whose duty it was to arrange the dishes of each course upon the tray (ferculum) and place them in proper order. He sometimes carved, though that was properly the function of the scissor (Mart.x. 48; Lamprid. Elag. 27). See Cena; Triclinium.
