Asclepiodŏtus

Ἀσκληπιόδοτος). A Greek writer, pupil of the Stoic
Posidonius of Rhodes, who died B.C. 51. On the basis of his lectures Asclepiodotus seems to
have written the military treatise preserved under his name on the Macedonian military system.
