Endoeus

Ἔνδοιος). An Athenian sculptor who flourished about the year B.C. 560, though tradition made him the student of Daedalus and to have fled with him from Crete. A statue of Athené by him was removed by Augustus Caesar from Tegea to Rome (Pausan. i. 26.5).
