Iunia Gens

An ancient patrician house at Rome, to which belonged the celebrated M. Iunius Brutus, who took such an active part in expelling the Tarquins. But afterwards the gens appears as only a plebeian one. The chief families were those of Brutus, Bubulcus, Gracchanus, Norbanus, Pullus, and Silanus.
