Metion

Μητίων). The son of Erechtheus and Praxithea and husband of Alcippé. His sons, the Metionidae, expelled their cousin Pandion (q.v.) from Athens, of which he was king, but were themselves afterwards expelled by his sons (Apollod. iii. 15; Pausan. i. 5, 3).
