Quadrantal

(also Amphŏra Quadrantal). A Roman measure of capacity, holding about twentyfour quarts ( Fest. s. v. publica pondera, p. 24, ed. Müller). Half a quadrantal was an urna; one eighth, a congius; and one forty-eighth, a sextarius.
