Eth. FORUM TIBERII is placed by Ptolemy (2.9) among the Helvetii. It is unknown where it is. D'Anville guesses Kaiserstuhl on the Rhine, chiefly because of the meaning of the German name; which is very unsatisfactory. Haller guesses Zurzach on the Rhine, where there are Roman walls. Another guesses Steckborn on the Lake of Constanz. (Ukert, Gallien.)
