BEVE

BEVE (Βεύη: Eth. Βευαῖος), a town in Lynccstis in Macedonia, situated on the river Bevus, a tributary of the Erigon, and probably the southern branch of the latter river. (Steph. B. sub voce Liv. 31.33; Leake, Northern Greece, vol. iii. pp. 310, 314.)
