BREUCI

Eth. BREUCI (Βρευκοῖ), a tribe in Lower Pannonia. (Ptol. 2.16.3; Strab. vii. p.314.) Their war with the Romans under their chief Baton, and their defeat, are described by Dio Cassius (55.29, foil.; comp. Plin. Nat. 3.28).
