BRIU´LA

BRIU´LA (Βρίουλα: Eth. Briullites), a place in Lydia (Strab. p. 650; Plin. Nat. 5.29), in the neighbourhood of Nysa. Its position is not known, but it may have been near Mastaura, also mentioned in the same sentence by Strabo, the site of which is known [MASTAURA].
