CELENNA
CELENNA a town of Campania, mentioned only by Virgil (
Aen. 7.739) who appears to place it (in conjunction with Rufrae and Batulum) on the borders of the Campanian plain. Servius (
ad loc.) says “locus est Campaniae, sacer Junoni.” We find no other mention of it, and its situation is unknown.
