CERGE

CERGE (Κέργη), a place in Mysia, mentioned by Hierocles, quoted by Forbiger, who suggests that the name ought to be Certe, as there is a place Kerteslek, on the Rhyndacus, where, he says, that there are ruins; but Hamilton (Lond. Geog. Journ. 7.35), who was at the place, does not mention ruins.
