The country he names Atramitae. Both names are but different forms of Adramitae [ADRAMITAE
], the ancient inhabitants of that part of the southern coast of Arabia still called Hadramaut,
originally settled, it would appear, by the descendants of the Joctanite patriarch Hazarmaveth. (Gen.
