CLAU´DIUS MONS

CLAU´DIUS MONS a mountain range in Pannonia, the eastern slope of which was inhabited by the Taurisci, and the western slope by the Scordisci. (Plin. Nat. 3.28.) This range is probably the same as the mountains near Warasdin on the river Drave.
