CODRION

CODRION a fortified town in Illyria, which surrendered to the Romans upon the capture of Antipatria, B.C. 200. It was probably near the latter city, upon the river Apsus. (Liv. 31.27.) It was probably the same town, which is called Chrysondyon by Polybius (5.108). (Leake, Northern Greece, vol. iii. p. 326, seq.)
