COLOPE´NE

COLOPE´NE, CULUPE´NE, or CALUPENE (Καλουπηνή), a district in Pontus on the border of Armenia Minor. (Strab. p. 560.) Pliny (6.3) places Sebastia and Sebastopolis in Colopene. As to the position of this district, see PONTUS
