Eth. CO´MMONI (Κομμονοί), the name of a Gallic, or perhaps Ligurian tribe, mentioned by Ptolemy (2.10). D'Anville supposes that they may have been a division or tribe of the Salyes. Nothing more is known of them. [G.L]
