CYRE´NE (Κυρήνη), is one of several unknown towns, which Stephanus (s. v.) assigns to Massalia If these notices of his are true (see Ἀλωνίς, Ἀζανία), Massalia had dependencies, of which there remains no record except the names. [G.L]
