DO´SARON

DO´SARON (Δωσάρων), a river of India which discharges itself into the Sinus Gangeticus at 141° long., and 17° 4′ lat. (Ptol. 6.1); and has been identified with the Maha-Nadi. (Comp. Gosselin, Géographie des Anciens, vol. iii. pp. 215,216, 255, 312.)
