DRE´SIA

DRE´SIA (Δρεσία: Eth. Δρεσιεύς), called a city of Phrygia by Steph. B. sub voce (s. v.), who quotes the third book of the Bassarica of Dionysius, Βούδειαν Δρεσίην τε καὶ οἳ μηλώδεα γαῖαν. Nonnus, in his Dionysiaca, mentions it with the Obrimus, a branch of the Maeander. [MAEANDER]
