Surnamed LAUS by Pliny (3.1. s. 3), and MAGNA by Ptolemy (Ἰλλίπουλα μεγάλη, 2.4.12), a city of the Turduli, in Baetica, between the Baetis and the coast, perhaps Loxa. (Ukert, vol. ii. pt. 1. p. 363.)

MINOR (prob. Olvera or Lepe di Ronda, near Carmona), a tributary town of the Turdetani, in Hispania Baetica, belonging to the conventus of Hispalis. (Plin. Nat. 3.1. s. 3; Sestini, Med. Esp. p. 54.) [P.S]
