JULIOMAGUS

JULIOMAGUS (Ἰουλιόμαγος), a town of the Andecavi, in Gallia Lugdunensis, and their capital. (Ptol. 2.8.8.) It is named Juliomagus in the Table, and marked as a capital. It is now Angers. [ANDECAVI]
